P.f. Chang's - Richmond

We waited almost 20 minutes after being seated for anyone to come to the table. We waited another 15 minutes for water. The appetizers arrived before our drink order. Some of the food arrived not hot it had clearly been sitting for a bit. Patrons arriving after us were served before us. It was quite disorganized for being so empty. It would be better for them to not accept reservations if they are too short staffed to appropriately take care of customers.

Kitchen got order wrong. Waited forever for meal and restaurant was not real busy. Wife ordered Shrimp dish and got chicken. My meal ended up being significantly overcooked so much so I almost broke a tooth. Service was average at best.

We are usually very pleased with PF Chang's but this visit was not the best. We made a reservation but still had to wait 15 minutes. Our server almost dropped a tray full of dishes on my head. I ordered the eggplant dish and it lacked any texture, just mushy. The server removed the eggplant from the bill. The shrimp appetizer was excellent though. We were also sitting next to a very busy server kiosk which often had a line so we felt like we had servers looking over us the whole time. My daughter asked where the cat was hiding in the restaurant and the server was too busy to answer and said she'd come back to let us know. We didn't feel well taken care of on this visit.

We were seated a little before our reservation time. Jake was our server. He was knowledgeable about menu items and was balanced in the number of times he checked on us. Food and drinks were outstanding! Hopefully, they will keep the Chili Crab Pork Fried Rice beyond the seasonal dish time period! A wonderful experience!

We are frequent diners at P.F. Chang's in Richmond. The restaurant consistently serves delicious food with exquisite sauces and has excellent service. The atmosphere is restful and positive. Michael, the managing director, is warm, professional and competent. Nathaniel goes above and beyond to make our dining experiences delightful.
