Panera Bread - Richmond

For a place in the city, this shopping center usually has good parking. The refillable iced tea is great whether you like caffeine or not. They are fruity and unique with ingredients like Agaven. If you prefer to sweeten it, they offer simple syrup, so you do not have to wait until the sugar dissolves. Your baked goods are supposed to die for so much of us. But their coffee drinks are better than Starbucks!

You can tell a lot about a device how they treat their mistakes. This Panera RARELY makes a mistake on my order, but today they have it. I ordered a coffee-death and pumpkin muffins for quick pickup, and when I arrived 15 minutes after the order, I was told that they were not aware of the order for the coffee-death and it would take them 15 minutes to prepare the dead (which I did not have). The manager was very apologetic and refunded a full refund. When I asked if I should give up another order so that I could pay for the muffins and the 2 cups of coffee I planned to go with instead, the manager said "of course not! That was our mistake.” and I went with free coffee and muffins. If you go to any Panera in Richmond, this is definitely the best. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, the orders are usually exactly what I asked and they treat mistakes gracious. They are not always perfect, but they obviously strive for it.

I wish I could give 6 stars. All Panera stores have delicious food and drinks. What makes this panera is the service. It's incomparable. They are fast, reliable and very friendly. If I ever find another panera as good as this, I will update this review. Don't hold your breath.

This Panera is located directly on a Chipotle, CVS and several grocery stores, so it is the perfect place to stop during the unloading, especially with Picky toddlers and children. The coffee is fresh, the pastries are divine, and the food is delicious. I can't talk about the staff who are incredibly friendly. The bread here is amazing so I definitely recommend to leave the shelf bread at Martin's or Kroger's and instead get a freshly made foliage in Panera, they will even cut it fresh for you!

We come here relatively often. Very consistent service and quality. My husband Loves the iced green tea. Sometimes this location is out of a lot of things such as vanilla syrup which is a huge bummer; but I get it. Lots if volume here. See y'all next time.
