East King - Richmond

I think it's an entirely mediocre Chinese and Thai place. Way too much broccoli in the orders in my opinion. Their advantage is that they're relatively quick, well located with good hours, have a lot of menu options, and are fairly priced. It's okay.

First of all let me say I love Chinese food. I bought from this place because the chinese restaurant near my house didn’t have a lot of flavor in their food so I came to this location. Unfortunately this Chinese restaurant is the same. I ordered 2 dinner specials,sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and pork egg rolls. The food was bland and not a lot of flavor in rice or egg rolls. The duck sauce was also bland. Only the chicken had flavor. One plate was for my mom and she agreed. I had high hopes for this restaurant because all the positive reviews and I was contemplating on coming here for weeks and the food was not nasty not delicious just okay. The sweet and sour chicken had a cup of sauce while the sesame chicken was cooked in sauce and had broccoli in it. I mixed my sesame chicken and rice together to flavor rice with chicken and the sauce. They should pour the sesame sauce over the rice to add more flavor instead of serving plain rice with onions. Stop being stingy with the sauce. I caught the bus home and got there almost 2 hours later at almost 8pm on a dark cold night and the food was still very hot. The people here are hard working and nice so i’ll hate to give negative reviews. I feel as if the cooks was rushing thru orders to be done quick. There was only like 2 or 3 cooks and 6 people in line in front of me. The cashier lady taking orders said 30 minutes and it was here at like 15 minutes. I’ll be willing to wait longer for more flavorful food. I’ll give them another try and order something different the next time. The service was good but the food was neutral,so I gave a neutral review. 3 out of 5 stars.

Shrimp Pad Thai is the ultimate favorite. I've only come here a few times. I regret not trying them before. They are professional and kind. As well as quick but without skipping any steps in flavor.

I love it when I open the the delivery bag, THERE'S FREE CRAB RANGOON, clearly marked free not just a mistake, to top off my order! All their food, that I've tried, has been great; they have a good delivery service/driver, too, they've delivered as far as Petersburg, to me the construction crew, sweet sour chicken w/ vegetable fried rice was the crew's favorite order.

They're good what they're doing. Fresh food, call ahead when you're in a hurry. Other then... no complaints!
