Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Food was great and our server was awesome. I can not remember her name. She was very sweet and attentive

I typically visit the Danville, KY location, however, on 1/4/24 I visited the Richmond, KY location for the first time. Everything was wonderful. No wait, fast service. Food was delicious. Staff was great.

We ate there after picking up our new car, heading back to Lexington . The waitress seemed overworked, little frazzled, and not able to check back with us on water refills, etc. We needed to go containers, but had to get up and ask another young man, had to ask 3 times for the lantern to be lit, then another young lady) seems upset had to light it, and we were served burnt cornbread. My husband said to just let it go, but he left his 2nd one, burnt. Not tasting good. I took photo. Main dish was good, but not burnt cornbread, and had to look for someone on refills of water and to go containers and light lantern. I guess It depends on what time of day you go and who your waitress is. We were there on Saturday, December 30th.

The bacon-topped chicken was bland. The chicken pot pie was delicious. Also had the pot roast on another visit and it was very good.

Biscuits are great, but sometimes come out under-cooked. Also, do you have jam in any flavor besides grape? Love your trout!
