The restaurant was recommended by hotel staff. looks small from outside, but once inside they find it quite big. server was very helpful as it was my first time. I tested a steak combo. it was shameful. it was great if very recommended in the opposite.
The sushi at this restaurant was decent, but not exceptional, especially considering it's in Richmond. The service was good and the prices were reasonable for the portion sizes.
The seto japanese restaurant is located in richmond and serves them a fairly solid Japanese price. we visited here in the beginning of februar to lunch and had some hardships to decide what to order because they were a regular menu, a lunch menu, and then sprinkle different...specialities on walls (unfortunately it was a little difficult to read this thing on the wall). first is the tsukemono, which in the round is only a sortiment of crispy picking veggies. next is the salmon toro sashimi for a half order). I love a good salmon bell and these butter and fat pieces of sashimi were really good. it is a bit on the expensive side, but good salmon toro is in the rule. next was an article from their lunch specialties. dynamite, bc and california rolls combo for the price this was a pretty good option as it fill and beautifully prepared sushi rolls. after that we have ordered a few other things from their regular menu. the spinach gomae yakitori and oyster motoyaki the yakitori was actually quite good with the teriyaki sauce, but I found the intensely bright yellow sauce of motoyaki to be a bit overwhelming. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the food quality here, but found that the prices on their regular menu tend to be a bit on the expensive side.
I visited the restaurant twice and found their food to be of good quality. The seafood is fresh and the prices are reasonable. It's not overly cheap, but definitely worth it.
