Macau Cafe - Richmond

The food taste sooooo bad OMG! I had to throw it away and get new things. I could have used my 30 bucks in somewhere else which will be much much worthwhile.Nothing has taste even the drinks lolThe ovaltine tastes like they put tiny bits of powder in to a bucket of tap water. It literally tastes like the water you drink after drinking real ovaltine.

I ordered the minced beef in Russian Borscht soup with macaroni. I love HK Russian Borscht soup. This food court stall actually has better Russian Borscht soup than the HK style restaurant I tried in Richmond. For $8, I'm a happy man.

Food was great. Very typical HK style resto with so much option. One of the best cheap eats in Richmond and they also have all the breakfast at cheap price. My favorite is the baked pork chop on rice. We also like the pork knuckles noodle soup. Will sure come back and try the food options.

Today not talking food, just saying the service (from the thin dark lady) is very rude, not allow using coin because it will slow down her??? If you ask something to takeout, she will yelling you why not telling her at the beginning??? I’m not sure she is owner or not, l will not buy food from her anymore as l always treat people nicely.

Not sure what happened to this place. Use to be great. Today I saw some guy prepping sandwiches while he was cleaning the counter with a sopping wet rag. The area was so wet he squeezed out the liquid filled rag a few times into a garbage can. His hands also clearly touched garbage while he did that. He then continued to move sandwiches in the styrofoam plates to serve and touch bread in the toaster. I told him that was gross and he should be washing his hands before he touched food again. His boss lady goes that’s how they serve food here and they wear gloves. He was not wearing a glove but even if he was, he’s still touching dirty stuff. That’s one thing I don’t get about a lot of Chinese places. The cashier wears gloves but still touches money and food. More of a protection for them than for you I guess? Anyway, asked for money back. Never coming here again. What a shame. The place use to be a favorite. BTW Google should be able to give 0 stars.
