Very large portions, so very good for its value. Spent $30+ for a group of 4 and still had leftovers. Food comes very fast and very fresh too. Just keep in mind it's cash only.Vegetarian options: Yes there are.Parking: Plaza parking lot.

I found the rice-to-fish ratio for the salmon, ebi, and tuna to be just fine, though some may prefer less rice, as BanZai uses a fair amount with each piece. This is purely a matter of personal preference. If you have gluten sensitivities, this might not be the best place for you. However, I was able to remove the fried shrimp tempura pieces from my order, but some customers may want to be cautious about cross-contamination. You can also ask them to omit the tempura pieces while ordering. I didn’t inquire about their cross-contamination protocols in the kitchen, so it’s important to exercise your own discretion if you have dietary restrictions. There are other sushi options in the Vancouver area that are safer for those with gluten intolerance, which you can find in my Google Reviews. Regardless of dietary needs, the sushi quality here is excellent, and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! They only accept cash, but they were kind enough to accept American currency and convert it accurately based on current exchange rates. This shows their commitment to customer service, as many Canadian restaurants might short-change American customers. I really appreciated that! The atmosphere was cozy, with nice tables and decent seating. The decor gave off a contemporary Japanese vibe, and the place was kept clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating, contributing positively to the experience. Keep in mind that BanZai can get quite busy, so be prepared for a wait during peak hours.

New ownership but still have wonderful food and service could use some more help but the food is always great ??????????
