Sandi's Drive Inn - Richfield

I started with the fish and chips, but the batter was as tough as shoe leather. After trying just one piece, I ended up throwing the rest away. A week later, I tried the burger, which I had previously praised as being better than Wendy's—a high compliment for me. Unfortunately, it tasted strange, seemed overcooked, and didn't have the familiar flavor I associated with Sandi's burgers. It feels like either they’ve changed their meat supplier or their kitchen staff isn’t preparing the food like they used to. Regardless, I can no longer consider myself a customer of Sandi's. It’s a shame because I genuinely enjoyed this place.

This unique drive-in features quirky decor and cozy booth seating. The food was decent; we were in the mood for breakfast and enjoyed the grilled ham and cheese. However, the jalapeños on the burger had an unusual taste, as if the brine wasn't quite fresh. On the bright side, the fries were fantastic, with both regular and sweet potato options.
