Bidrage med feedbackI celebrated my birthday there and had a great experience. The service was quick and friendly, and the menu offered a fantastic variety, ensuring there's something for everyone. However, it could use a few more vegetarian options. Everything I tried was delicious, especially the white bean Tuscan salad—it was excellent, complemented perfectly by the balsamic vinaigrette! I would definitely return with a large group!
We ordered a few different entrées. The burger, cooked medium rare, was perfect and came with a choice of sides. The French dip was hearty and came with a generous amount of meat, along with a flavorful au jus. As for the sides, the sweet julienned carrots and lightly cooked green beans were excellent. The potatoes were also delightful and served piping hot. My only critique would be regarding the walleye, which had a beurre blanc sauce that was quite strong. It would be nice if they served a little extra sauce on the side for those who prefer a lighter flavor. The desserts were tasty overall. The crème brûlée was unfortunately a bit overcooked; it should have stopped at a dark brown instead of burnt. A little more custard would have made it better. It was a small dessert priced at $3.95. The donut flight, however, was delightful, served in a martini glass with fresh cinnamon-spiced holes and two small jars of dipping sauces. The Kahlua hot fudge sauce was delicious—I could have eaten it by the spoonful—while the caramel sauce was just average. At $6.95, it was easily shareable. My partner thought the donuts themselves could have been wonderful, but I felt they had a slight oiliness to them and were cooked a bit too long. They would be much better if cooked for a shorter time in fresh oil. We will definitely be returning to John B's with my brother!
Great taste in the many things I tried. they have a rotating seasonal menu that offers additional variety. the service was also good. it is a national chain, so they do not find many local options for eating or beer. and prices tend to the high side for the amount of food. but they can find healthier options, such as a bio-green salad (maintained), that they do not find in many similar restaurants.
I loved both the food and the ambiance of the restaurant. The stuffed chicken breast is an outstanding dish. The crispy calamari on the happy hour menu is a must-try!
I visited minneapolis and looking for the reviews online, I decided to try it out. although it was a bit slow on Monday night, the atmosphere is great. low lighting, a large bar, large windows outside and overall a beautiful place. there are tvs if they want to watch sports and the ambiente is beautiful and quiet where they can have a conversation without talking loud. the food selection for me is a little small. for a steak there are three possibilities and the same for burger. That seems to be the bun and fish are their main dishes. I had the navajo chicken pasta, which was delicious and had a little heat on it. the drinks are, even good quality. if they're looking for an intimate place or a place to meet a friend or a worker, I would definitely come back here. to review my other reviews of restaurants and sights, follow me on google.
