Mario’s Pizza - Richardson

I ordered two slices of pizza to take away, and as someone who grew up in New England and has enjoyed plenty of excellent pizza, I can say I’m quite picky. This pizza place serves incredible pizza! I’m thrilled to have discovered such a fantastic pizzeria in my neighborhood. It really reminds me of a great slice from Brooklyn or Boston; I was not let down at all! I had the pleasure of meeting the family who owns the restaurant, and they were absolutely delightful. It was amusing to find out that Mario is actually named Mario, just like Mario from Mario and Luigi! I will definitely be returning for more pies and slices. I highly recommend this restaurant for both amazing pizza and outstanding service. Plus, it feels wonderful to support a family-owned business. Five stars all the way!

It was a one-man operation in the kitchen, so I didn't mind waiting a little longer for my order. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was fantastic! The Alfredo tortellini was my favorite, and the garlic bread was simply delicious. I highly recommend trying the meatball sandwich, and the pizzas were incredibly fresh. We'll definitely be returning. It's honestly some of the best Italian food I've had in a long time!

Update: He still has the sign in his window advertising the 2 large two-topping pizzas for $7.99 each. Don’t believe him; he will charge you $15.99 each and then blame you for ordering incorrectly.

Fantastic pizza at great prices with great deals. The pizza tastes delicious with many different toppings available including sausage, peperoni, black olives, and many more available. One example of a great deal offered is if you pick up the pizza you can order a personal pizza with three different toppings with an added drink you can choose, for only 6.99.The quality is great, New York style, and the owner Mo is a great guy who is there working at the place often, at both the front and the back. Very nice man who makes great conversation, a really friendly person.

Wonderful service and a homey, family-owned feel. And the pizza was amazing!! They didn't skimp on the cheese or toppings and everything was just right. The only downside is I was planning to dine in but their seating is just a couple of barstools. 10/10 would recommend for take out though!
