Bidrage med feedbackThis is an interesting place tucked behind the dealership within stone's throw of the highway. Not going to lie, I never found the parking lots. Google maps failed me there. The front entrance does not stand out and if you drove by without looking, youwould never know this was a brewery. Service: 5 stars, easily. The owners we very hospitable and very much seem to lovehaving visitors. Vibes: 4 Stars. I would go with 5, but the smell was so bitter it can make you nauseous at first. But itseems to fade after about 10 minutes. We went to listen to the live music, and we were not disappointed. A surpriseperformance of Randy Brooks (Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer fame) even gave a little show. All while getting to watch theCowboys destroy the Vikings midafternoon. Inside is small and quant and there is a large outdoor seating selection. Tablegames and shuffleboard available for those that like have a little extra fun. Definitely a hidden gem. The Brews: 3 stars. Average and nothing great. We had a flight to try half the menu. I tend to stick to ales, so had a few IPAs, a bock, and evena wheat ale. Something for everyone, but not my favorite. $27 Flight: All-In-IPA (6) Full Boat Bock (8) Jack the RIPA(12) Two Pairs Pale Ale (3) Pint: Honey Wheat (7) *2 The Eats: The brewery sold some bagged popcorn and there are a couple offood trucks out back. Sadly, the hot dog truck was not open, but the Mint's Kitchen serves up some authentic Thai. We hadShrimp Tempura and a bowl of Spicy Thai Basil Pork. $25. 3 Stars. No doubt we will be back when it is a little warmer andcan have a patio night with some hot dogs.
I?ve been wanting to go here for several years and was NOT disappointed. The beer here is brewed in English style, with their English Brown Ale and their English Red Ale being the two I tried. Both were excellent. For being a small brewery they have agreat selection of beers. The atmosphere is solid although the music was really loud when we went. My only other negative is thehours they?re open during the week. It makes it difficult to get out there. All that being said, wonderful place. Was notdisappointed. Absolute must try as you make your way through the breweries of DFW!
We had 6 of the 12 beers on tap all of which were very good to excellent. Really laid back atmosphere where we could all spend time visiting. A bit of a hole in the wall but definitely worth seeking out. Owners/staff are very friendly and helpful.
I would give this brewery 10 stars if I could, the beer is excellent, the staff is accommodating, and the setting is Texas meets British Pub. I have been to a ton of breweries in the Dallas and Fort Worth area and this Brewery stands out as remarkable. Brewing can be hit or miss, and they have 12 taps that were all true to style and tasty. My favorite beer was Double Down, theDIPA, and that's not even my favorite style. They also have tin tackers.
We spent a good couple of hours drinking great beer in a super relaxed environment. But when it came to placing an order for one last beer 10 minutes before closing time (6pm), it came as a big surprise to be 'advised ' by some lady who came out of nowhere, that it would be in my best interests not to order a beer because they had a private party planned at 6PM. Well thanks for thenotice!!! Three out of three stars for the beer and atmosphere, zero stars for throwing good custom out of the door earlywithout so much as a friendly thank you. Such a shame.
