Bidrage med feedbackI was disappointed with this restaurant. It used to be great before the pandemic and was a nice alternative to northside. However, since then, the hours are not really suitable for a bar. I keep checking to see if things have returned to normal, but it doesn't seem likely anymore.
Six of us went for lunch after an event at UTD...after deciding and ordering, the only waitress disappeared, coming back to tell us that half our orders were not available...so no beer cheese sauce, no shrimp, no pretzel bites. Reordered...Beer came and mine was flat. Next thing we see some guy at the beer station filling up buckets of beer and dumping them. Only a few beers available. Food staggered out, two at a time. By the time the last order came..we were mostly done. And it was mostly apps! No explanation or apology offered...very strange!
Avoid. Items on menu not available. Beer stand oxidized. They lead you via qr code to an untappd beer menu but don't pay untappd so there's no beer menu. Forgot to put in my
Last year the guy running the place was awesome. Whatever students they've hired this year are clearly not cut out for anything outside a classroom. They never get your order right which sucks since the Taproom was the only legit burger place on campus. Also what's with the weird hours? A bar that closes at 4pm and isn't open on the weekends is just sad.
This place has the potential to be awesome with a different cook and menu. Food was terrible, had a bit of a language barrier with the bartender, but the atmosphere is good. Definitely just a beer spot.
