We just popped in to have a beer and share a pizza for a light lunch. Staff were efficient and the Romano at pizza was tasty, and reasonably priced at €8. What we were not expecting on the bill was a €5 service charge. We are used to paying ‘coperto’ ie service charge, which is normally about 10%, so felt this was a bit steep.

Stumbled upon this after a long walk back from the MotoGP didn’t take the time to read reviews as was very hungry. Prefer the tortellini with pears, ham and cream and could have made better at home and I’m an average British cook at best). Partner had penne which was just ok. Taste the house wine before ordering it wasn’t the best I’ve had. Wouldn’t return.

We have been visiting Riccione for 25 years and visiting Diana every year at least once. However, today, as we decided to dine there, we ordered Mazzancole shrimps cooked in salt. The shrimps came extremely small, which is not usual for the mazzancole type of shrimps, and they were the saltiest shrimps we have had in our lives. Perhaps it was the mistake of the cooking method, as our waiter didn’t explain to us that the shrimps can come out too salty. We politely asked to taste them, as they felt like putting a spoon of salt into our mouth. The waiter said that the shrimps were delicious and not over salted. It was a joke: so we requested a check without the shrimps, which resulted the managed to freak out, swear at us, hit us with his money checks and humiliate us in front of the whole restaurant (and we are two women). He swore at us several times and told us to leave the restaurant.
