Dil Raj - Ribble Valley

Always order our take outs from here, just recently they have been getting worse! Tonight was the worst, sloppy and certainly not up to standard Never again!!!

We had our first takeaway from here and it was delicious, really fresh with lots of veggies and herbs. Really friendly and prompt service and great atmosphere at the restaurant when we called to pick it up. They took care with my dairy intolerance and even phoned me back to explain what dishes had dairy and replacement suggestions. We will be back !!

Cold rice, cold chips and Luke warm curry. I had multiple bones in my curry as well. I used to order from here quite often, stopped for a while as it wasn’t upto scratch, but tried again this evening and it was worse than ever

We enjoyed a takeaway from this restaurant while on holiday, placing an order via Just Eat. We did wait for quite some time for the delivery (over an hour more than the suggested time), but our holiday lodge was a little way out of Clitheroe and the food was worth the wait. I particularly enjoyed my garlic chicken tikka bhuna. If we were local, this would be our place to go for Indian food. It was a pity we couldn’t fit in a second visit.

Started with poppadoms. Poppadoms were far from fresh, the onion was in dish all clumped up and dry with off colour. Then onto starters. My wife's chicken chat was OK but my sheek kebab was extremely dry and hard to cut into. I smothered it in yellow sauce in which to moisturise them. Now onto main meal my wife ordered chicken korma which was OK, I ordered chicken tikka korma and quite honestly the chicken tikka was so dry and was far from fresh tasting, the korma sauce I have had better so I would say passable. The inside of the restaurant is very plush but the food doesn't do it justice.
