Bidrage med feedbackVery poor and extremely pricey £140/night) accommodation given it’s the other side of the entrance from the parked cars. Room smelled of bleach. Breakfast charged separately. I thought there might be the usual cereals available but you had to pay extra for these! Really wish I had not stayed there.
Very good food and service from friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room but the setting was stunning and not far from Cardiff. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
Mothers' Day treat excellent as always, been here for numerous pre Christmas meals never disappointed
Booked here for mother's day only a week in advance, tried a few other places first but was unsuccessful. Checked a few reviews first which seemed mostly good, but for twenty pounds a head wasn't expecting a lot. Started by asking what red wines they had, after choosing a merlot was told yes that's a good one, it smells nice, really? Was sat near the window which was a nice view except for the two dead flies on the window sill that I mentioned and were scooped into the palm of the waitress, again, gobsmacked. On to the food, which had to be pre ordered, which upon arrival seemed odd as there must have only been five tables occupied out of 8.No pink in the beef my mother and I had, no choice either. Starters and dessert were ok. My main complaint was the lack of general front of house etiquette, which was epitomised by one waitress discussing quite loudly to another table how her son had been smoking a type of marijuana in her car etc etc, 10 out of 10 for sheer stupidity, never again!!!
We stayed at this pub/resteraunt in order to visit the Royal Mint. We chose it for its proximity to Llantrisant. We were given a very warm welcome and found our accommodation to be spotlessly clean and comfortable. There were the usual choices of cereal, fruit etc as well as a full English which was freshly cooked to order. The evening meals very tasty and quite generous portions. The service was prompt and perhaps a bit too quick. Empty plates were whisked away before we had both finished eating.
