Despite the unassuming entrance logo, the dedication in the kitchen, attentive service, and detailed descriptions of each dish make dining here a truly sensory delight. The menu features a fusion of local ingredients like salmon, halibut, lobster, and even whale (which is surprisingly delicious!) with more exotic flavors like papaya, coconut, mango, and other tropical fruits and vegetables. It was undeniably the best seafood we've ever tasted during our travels. Plus, it's not every day you get to try whale!

Extraordinary dishes and cocktails! a bit expensive, but not unexpected for reykjavik and definitiw what we paid. the mush should die and the cheesecake was heavenly. grilled oyster mushrooms were also remarkable and highly recommended!

Eating is really good just amazing. the service is one of the best I have experienced in my life. so happy we were on the first day in island on the fish market restaurant. it has set our mood for the whole trip exactly right.
