Bidrage med feedbackMy berthoud royal was exactly what I wanted with him, melted court of the cheese 'abondance', after which this little bistro takes his name. served with traditional boiled tomato, salamis, smoked ham, pickles and a beside salad, it was perfect. our greeting was so...friendly and we fought, but managed to enjoy some of the homemade desserts: lemon meringue and a tarte tatin. they also do pizzas and a takeway service, as locals are hoping to collect their orders. I hope we can see each other again
Found this great little place randomly on the look for somewhere else. very friendly staff that felt very welcome. left stuffed and happy we both had tagliatelle, sections best of us
We came by chance over this restaurant and really didn't know what to expect. the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly and eating from the savoie really excellent. as other critics suggested, the tartiflette is good to try.
My wife and I had dinner at this lively little bistro during the stay on the local campsite. we both had an excellent (and very fill! tartiflette. cook and serve for a very good atmosphere in a busy little bistro...obvily very popular among locals.
An ideal supper spot if you are staying at the neighbouring and excellent 'La Maison Forte ' B+B. It 's a plain but bright little restaurant doubling up as a pizza takeaway place which is not as droll as it may seem as the interchange...between the girl behind the counter and the steady flow of characters coming in makes for excellent mealtime entertainment a nice little vignette of french village life. Excellent speciality aperitif kir made with strawberry syrup strawberries are the thing in this region. The Savoyard speciality dishes are all freshly prepared and cooked to order using alpine cheeses. The house wine is a Savoyard organic wine and is excellent an absolute gem, very reasonable price and a great choice by the owner of this restaurant. I believe it is closed Sun/Mon evenings and at 9pm most weekday nights but open later Fri/Sat.
