Clyde's Of Reston

I have been dining at Clyde's for over 20 years. The food is always delicious and consistent. It's disappointing to hear that they are closing. Our server, despite being young, was exceptionally attentive.

I had a fantastic dinner! I was on a business trip and was looking for a good meal. The service was excellent. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. I definitely plan on returning when I am in the area again.

Haven't been here for awhile. Menu was interesting many good choices at reasonable price points. We had the mussels which featured a Thai tang; the calamari which was crispy; was prepared perfectly. I ordered the brussel sprout appetizer but when it arrived; the portion size was so generous it became my entree. I'll just have to come back so I can try the shrimp and grits which I had intended to enjoy today. The service was excellent and I would certainly recommend a visit here.

Granted, when we were there it was quite busy, it was a Saturday evening, and there was a wedding party in the restaurant. That said, it was quite loud beyond the ability to have comfortable conversation across the table. The food came in a reasonably timely order, not quite as hot as preferred... A room temperature reuben sandwich and crispy brussels sprouts that were clearly made quite a bit before we ordered them. All in all... Meh. Good food, not a romantic evening though, so consider objectives before committing.

I'm disappointed to see that they have closed. The restaurant was always too noisy for me and the food wasn't the best, but their allergy policies were excellent and there was always a dish for everyone.
