Bidrage med feedbackWe went to Gambi’s on Christmas Eve. The food was delicious, service was great, and we had so much fun. The prices were reasonable for a restaurant of this type.
This was the second visit and the food failed to impress. Service was excellent unfortunately the food was not. VERY salty. Almost to the point of inedible.
Spaghetti and meatballs very good , chicken Marsala was very good.
We had a reservation for 5:00 pm which is early but we were greeted and seated right away. There were about 5 other couples seated. They had beautiful piano music playing at a perfect level. Each one of us ordered appetizers, mushrooms, calamari, Caprese salad, pear salad and beet salad. Calamari was cooked perfect, very tender. Mushrooms were delicious. Our friends each raved about their salads. My husband had the flat iron steak medium rare. Cooked perfect. It was served with fresh asparagus spears. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. Sauce was good, would have liked a little more. The 2 meatballs were very dense, flavor was good. Our friends shared the Linguine Pescatora. Our waiter split the plate for them. Gave them each a very nice portion. Our friends said it was excellent and would have again. Also, had the garlic bread was very good. While eating the chef Donato came by our table and asked about our meals. Enjoyed a nice chat with him. We all shared a tiramisu, that was awesome! We all can recommend Gambi’s and will dine again.
Mushroom ravioli was delicious! So was the the risotto. Service was excellent!
