Alderto's - Reno

Alderto’s has quite good food and the staff are all quite friendly. the only disadvantages I have encountered so far are the waiting time and the steep prices. a number two is 2 tacos tears and drilling and a small drink for a total of $12.29 to other places is like $7 to $11 from what I have seen.

Got the California burrito and a shredded beef torta—let me say as someone who was born and raised in Southern California: their food is AMAZING. I’ve been nonstop looking for a half-decent Mexican restaurant in Reno because of how much I miss my culture’s cuisine and I am ecstatic knowing I found a place with phenomenal food only 10 minutes from my place. This place has the freshest ingredients and best vegetarian burrito I’ve found in Reno. I add onions and peppers to it and it’s absolutely huge. They have a wide variety of salsas with good kick, although they were a little watery the last time we came in.

I've had a couple of miscommunication with the mic in the drive thru being so quiet, otherwise good service. Love their torta. Wouldn't recommend any burrito. Lots and lots of meat in lieu of every other ingredient...

Food is decent. The wait is long but they have a sign explaining it’s not fast food so there is a wait. Ok then. They do have Jamaica which is rare around here. So add a star for that. My issue is when they hand you the tablet and ASK you if you want to leave a tip! What the heck is wrong with people. If I want to leave you a tip I will. I see no reason to tip when I drove up to YOUR window. And trying to pressure me into leaving one won’t work. Maybe they need to pay their people more so they aren’t begging for tips, or train them on how tipping works. I wrote this review while sitting in the drive thru waiting for my food because I knew I would have plenty of time.
