LE PANDA - Rennes

We stopped in this little restaurant a noon: the modern, clean decoration is very warm. The panda is remembering everywhere. the map is simple, affordable and varied. The dishes are good. I recommend.

We went the day before the restaurant closed, following the good reviews we read. bad day? the entrance, very common goat salad, very dry salmon, risotto has nothing of a risotto, no taste, no parmesan, no mud cooked, and dessert can no longer be banal. Plus, we called to book, and no one warned us that there was no food. Too bad, because the restaurant is cute, nice staff, but the kitchen doesn't follow.

I called to book people didn't answer, so I went to the place. 11h55 employees are in front of the restaurant, not to welcome you but they have the posterior sticker at the entrance of the restaurant! They take their little cigarettes, they're fucking laughing bars. 12h always the same ... still sitting! The cooks are out, with their outfits and service shoes bravo hygiene. quite normal that people answer the phone, they're all in relaxation mode outside! One of the employees reminded me, but it was too late I was already elsewhere. Details make perfection but perfection is not a detail.

We were out of the movies and hadn't been booked. There were a lot of free tables at 9:00. after a small aperitif and qqles gressins a deeper, we were served quickly. The meal was very well but the purée was a little warm. balance: good but not fuzzy.

Certainly a nice setting but for the rest...A lunch between colleagues, a rather long service while the restaurant was rather empty.For those who had taken fried meat it was good even if we were not suffocated by the amount of fries. for those who had been chosen fish it was not cooked enough while the rice was too much. for idem gourmet coffee lacks in quantity, but the fruit salad was good.Break ratio quality-quantity/price expensive, we will not return.
