Monarch Lounge Steakhouse - Renner

We visited in September and had a good experience overall. The food was tasty, and the service was decent. It was a busy night, and I would have appreciated a bit more water, but the one waitress, who had several tables to attend to, was quite occupied. I would definitely consider going back.

The service was quite disappointing. We attempted to have dinner, but nobody came to serve us, hand us a menu, or even offer drinks.

We have dined here multiple times and have consistently enjoyed excellent service and great food. I often recommend this place. It's a quaint little steakhouse in a small town that serves delicious meals.

I'm sad to say that our relationship with this restaurant has come to an end. We wanted to be supportive when we heard the news that the restaurant was suffering from floods in the area. As six of us in the evening of the 16th. April 2011 visited the restaurant, it seemed to be a night for our table. Our food was cold, cooked over, parts were unacceptable and mistakes were made on our orders. When I wanted to know the manager, she wasn't helpful. The culinary experience was what we called a bomb. Unfortunately, the word of the mouth can prove to be harmful. Best wishes, Ann.
