Dandy's Artisan Ice Cream - Regina

I would give this place zero stars if that was a possibility. I went once and ordered a vegan cone and was given a paper cup; maybe that is supposed to be funny?! When I asked what flavors were vegan one of the ones I was told was vegan had honey in it so I was skeptical they knew what vegan means. I had the worst stomach issues that night and the next day so I wonder if whatever I had was not actually vegan. Several months later I decided to go back and give the place a second try. I called 30 minutes before I showed up to ask for a pint to be packed so I could just pick it up. They said it would be 10 minutes and when I showed up 30 minutes later it still wasn 't packed. I had the vegan nanaimo bar flavor and there was something throughout the pint that had the consistency of soggy balls of paper; it was awful especially for the price. I had the coconut ash ice cream as a sundae with coconut whipped cream. Quite sweet and very satisfying. The presentation is also very stylish. I also appreciate the fact that they offer a vegan cone option.

The product is satisfactory but the wait was unacceptable. from walking in to getting my order was just over 20 min. there was one girl working and 2 people ahead of me. one of which was in mid order when i arrived. friendly staff. i paid 10 bucks for a fairly small shake. the machine has an automatic tip of 10%. i opted out and the machine cancelled the transaction. so i used cash and left, wondering how long they would stay in biz at that location. to me anyway 20 minutes is a looong time.

This has to be Hands Down the absolute BEST ice cream we have ever had. I had the Coconut Honeycomb Ash which was to die for! My husband had the Espresso Biscotti and wow, so much well balanced flavor. Truly Artisan Ice Cream. Make this a Must Go on your list!

Great atmosphere, love the dairy free/gluten free options, and the flavours are always amazing. There's always something for everyone.
