Bidrage med feedbackFantastic experience in Bento Bento. We tried everything you can eat and got blown away right away. The food is in higher quality than I like sushi and on par with Misoya, but this point scores 10 points for the presentation. You actually have efforts on every single dish considering that it is all that you can eat. The food came super fast and bombarded hot. There are many options for the Sashimi and they were all fresh and super delicious. I just wish that the grilled meat/teriyaki did not come with rice as they did very quickly. The Nigiri Sushi came with a large piece of meat/seafood. Last but not least, the waitress is super friendly with the smile on her face all the time. We would come back to see her happy face:
I felt that customer service was lacking. Waiting 5 minutes for someone to seat me because they were to busy chatting with the cooks was not a good start. Long wait times despite me being the only one there. The food however, I felt that even though the rice was not seasoned properly for a sushi place....they took great care in the cutting of the fish, and putting the sushi together. The rice was tightly firmed for the nigiri, and the rolls were out together quite well.
The food is amazing and phenomenal for their price, however customer service is utterly disrespectful and rude with customers, I asked for napkins and extra soy sauce, the worker told me that she already put them in the bag in a very rude manner. When I checked the bag, there were no napkins and only 4 soy sauce for 80 piece sushi. When ordering the food, I asked for additional options for more money, but they rudely ignored me and just acted like they didn’t hear me. They also lied to me saying only one person works at the restaurant so that the food will be ready in an hour and half where as I showed up and saw 3 or 4 people working and just talking. I love the food and would bring customers to the business if and when the workers are trained to have better customer service.
I was super excited to try this place as they have some unique rolls. I used their online ordering site and was given an approximate wait-time of 1 hour. After 1.5 hours with no food in site and no call from them, my boyfriend called to check on the order. He was hung up on. Twice. I then tried and was told that they have no access to the online orders and were waiting for their boss to come in but didn't know when that would be. I'm left with no food and (apparently) no way to get a refund on a $70+ order.
Service is good. However food was quite terrible. Sashimi was ice cold and had frozen crystal. The squid was overcooked and donkatsu was bland. We tried everything from the sushi rolls to even the ramen noodles. Sushi rice had too much water and ramen noodles+soup were the same as buying ones for 99 cents. The bubble tea was ok, not too sweet. But boba pearls was rock hard and they didnt soak long enough. The tempura was the only item on the menu that we didnt struggle to eat. 23/person was definitely not worth it.
