Meier-ein Lokal - Regensburg

The town of Meier in Stadtamhof is slightly inconspicuous and inconspicuous between and opposite several other restaurants and pubs. But it has spread a good reputation through mouth-to-mouth propaganda; so it was recommended to us and we tried it out. And to anticipate the conclusion: we can also recommend it; we have eaten there well at reasonable prices and were friendly and friendly. But now in detail: It was a beautiful late summer evening, and we chose a place outside the restaurant; this is practically already on the wide sidewalk of the street Stadtamhof. You can observe the passing pedestrian; they can also look directly into food. The special feature of the large parasols is that when you look south, you have a magnificent view of the Regensburg Cathedral, which dominates the old town; and in the opposite direction, that is in the north through the Pylon Gate and beyond, you have a beautiful view of the Trinity Mountain and the crowning Trinity Church. It's hard to see. We also sat very comfortable; on the wooden chairs lay thick padded seat cushions. Despite the somewhat uneven plaster, table and chairs were fixed and not even shaken. At this point a few words about the interior we could take in the later walk to the toilet: I feel a little old-fashioned, and it is certainly there for a long time; that goes to the original. But it is clean and in good, well maintained condition and also fits for me to an old Bavarian restaurant. The toilets fit in style, but also they are very clean and in neat condition. The service, a fleeting, attentive and friendly young lady, came to our table right after our egg meeting and brought us the menu and drinks. Shortly afterwards she asked us about our drinks and when she brought our beers, we had also chosen and ordered our dishes. It took some time before our food came, but with freshly prepared food you need to understand. With this review I also upload a picture of our bill to read what we ate and drank and what it costs. I don't want to repeat it either. But so much more: The portions were neat; it was all good quality and very tasty. It was a very good dinner in the right downtown atmosphere.

A restaurant for well-being and yet somehow pleasantly relaxed, whether for a special occasion (e.g. in the rear room standard with table top) or even simply so for the evening (e.g. in the front room standard on the well maintained natural wooden table top). Weekly changing menu always ensures positive effects on the palate. Very reasonable price-performance ratio. It becomes more and more difficult to get places without reservation. To ensure that the number is safe, a reservation is strongly recommended.

I stayed a week at the small Hotel Lux and worked a larger part of the weekly menu in the evening. Each food was tastefully matched to its components. As the only traveler I was always attentively served and placed by the service. Unfortunately, you can't take such a place into your home.

What do you want to write? The best restaurant I know in Regensburg and the surrounding area. Urgent furnishings, super-weather, attentive and fast service. The food on the weekly menu can only be called delicious. Many vegetarian dishes. Seasonally matching, regional, crisp ingredients. The portions have the right size. Prices are absolutely appropriate for quality and are more appropriate in the lower range. I don't have a single point of criticism. Important! Book it in time!
