Auer Brau - Regensburg

With the family around 19 clock and it was almost filled. great atmosphere inside and spacious. eating that I was told is Bavarian. I had a dish with red cabbage, maic carrots and bark in the heavy. it looks as if Teh-Rind were with some. nice in the inner rolled. the gravur went well with the meat and it was an amazing dish, I would eat again.

AB...is an old fashioned beer hall where the tables are all made to accommodate 8 to 12 diners, plain wood, no fripperies, plenty of fine beers and lashings of food. As the beer goes down, the noise ramps up! Families and adult groups all enjoying their evening out. Strangers are expected to share the table if there is space, and everyone is courteous and friendly. The staff were helpful to us as non German speakers, and showed us choices through the extensive menu. We were agog at the size of some of the servings that came past our table. S had a salad so big that it still covered the plate when she had finished. There's a beer garden for summer, on our visit only inhabited by the smokers praise be that Germany has finally kicked them outside! We liked it so much that we went back for a second night to join in the crowds.

Solide bayrische Küche, gute Brotzeit, die auch flexibel vergrössert werden kann, gutes Bier. Alles was ein gutes Bayrisches Gasthaus braucht. Und Kartenspielen wird auch toleriert.
