Shiki Express - Redwood City

Ordered tonkatsu salmon Japanese Bento Box. Portion size was great, food was freshly made, at a great price. Taste was about what youd expect from an Americanized Japanese restaurant in the bay. Was a little skeptical at first, but I think the restaurant is a chain with a few locations in the San Mateo area so gave it a shot. Would definitely order again!

The worst ever. Salmon is not fresh, meat tastes like rubber, salad dressing tastes like a mayonnaise. I have to throw it away, omg!

Very well presented and packaged. The food was good but not as tasty, as I expected.

Impressed by the quality of the chicken katsu! And the salmon, and the generous portion size. Like its one orange slice but it is fully 1/4 of an orange. This is really solid, ill be back for sure.

Food was fresh and hot and tasty too
