Bidrage med feedbackIt’s a very female dominated restaurant: the only man working there was washing dishes. The service was amazing, however the food is bit normal compared to other Mexican restaurants I’ve been. Skirt beef is a bit dry and guacamole is relatively less flavorful.
The food is delicious and i highly recommend this place. We tried their chilaquiles verdes con arrachera. The gorditas de chicharron with their red salsa were also soo good. I wish they made them in a bigger entree version. They were crunchy and not greasy at all.On one of the order of chilaquiles, we asked if they could make them red, and they kindly checked with the chef first. Thankfully, they were able to fulfill our request, and we were very thankful. The best deal overall, in my opinion, were the 3 churros for 8 dollars for dessert. You could tell they were freshly made and a good size.As for service, both our server and greeter were both amazing and super nice. They accommodated our request to sit upstairs and our change in the salsa. Overall, we were pleased with this place.Parking: There are two small parking lots but both were full. We were able to find street parking close by and it wasnt that bad.
You need to come and try this place!! You can tell every dish that comes out is well thought out. The service here is amazing. Our waitress was so sweet!! While we were waiting for our food to come out she gave us fideo soup) to tide us over.We ordered:Drinks- media naranja, subeté and the guava agua fresca.Oh my god!! Sooooo good!! Just the right amount of sweetness and alcohol. Flavors were very well balanced. Perfect!Appetizer- Gordita chicharron. This thing was on another level!! It was like a Mexican version of a pizza pocket but so much better! And the side of chile was amazing!1st Main dish- Chicken verde enchiladas.Their homemade tortillas adds such a good flavor and texture. The sauce is slightly tangy but still really good! The rice was very nice as well. I do wish the dish came with beans.2nd main dish- Arrachera skirt steak, chorizo, cactus and black beans)The skirt steak was pretty tender. It would have been a lot better if they added more salt. The chorizo looked more like a sausage. It tasted good but I was expecting the Mexican style chorizo. It was more similar to Spanish style. The beans were very good and flavorful! We even ate the fried tortilla bowl it came in. The side salsa that came with the dish was not that good.Dessert- churros with a guava sauceI want to start by saying you can definitely tell these are homemade! Thats very impressive!! But I wasn’t blown away with the filling inside the churro or the guava sauce. I would have loved something like vanilla ice cream, Caramel or like a Mexican chocolate dipping sauce.Would 100% recommend this place and we do plan to come back!!
Delicious, highly recommended, great staff, I would suggest they put up some sound damper.
Thank GOD for the new ownership that came in a few years ago. The food is excellent ??. The only hiccup was the waitress asking us about 4 times if we were ready to order when we repeatedly told her we were waiting for others to show up.Still going back for that food though (wish I had 12 of those tacos instead of just a trio ? !
