Bidrage med feedbackGreat quality, a touch pricey but not for the area. Everything in the village is.
1st time visiting this deli. I was told that this sandwich location was very good. So off we went like the Beverly Mexbillies we jumped in my truck and headed to see for ourselves. My wife ordered the Beach Blanket, with turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, garlic aioli, pickles banana peppers and something else. I had the Big Pig had the above ingredients except, mine was ham and bacon. Holy Smokes the sandwiches were humongous. My wife who is hard to get her to eat said hers was very, good. As for me, I love to eat but I am also very critical and picky of what I eat. Mine was absolutely delicious. I can 't say that I have ever had a cold sandwich that smelled delicious even before tasting it. Every bite was a delightful experience to my pallet. We could only eat half but the good thing is that we enjoyed the other halves for dinner. The only thing I omitted was taking photos; however, the photo would not have given justice to the taste. A high five to the two Gentlemen preparing the sandwiches and the two young ladies taking our order and tending the cash register. Very nice ambiance and friendly and inviting staff. FYI, I thought I saw a sign that indicated location is a cashless business. I was so blown away by the meal that I forgot to ask and confirm. Oh well, bring both just in case.
Would love to recommend this place but they always seem to closer earlier than posted.
Delicious sandwiches! Tried the Goodfella and Calabria.
As many times I've frequented the Riviera Village, I've only noticed this deli today after my late morning walk in the Esplanade. Located right across the street from HT Grill which is the last restaurant on n the street, it may be why this cute little deli is often missed. I ordered right when n they n opened. 10 minute wait, so I strolled next door for some window shopping which is another store I've missed as well. More on that later. I ordered and split with the Hubs their most popular Goodfella along with the Chicken Parm for my son. This was takeout and was pleasantly surprised these were cut in half. These subs are solid with a good ratio of meat n veggies. Prices are average for these days at approx $15. Will be back again.
