Jus' Poke - Redondo Beach

This place is about as authentic Hawaiian as Panda Express is to Chinese cuisine. They marinate their poke to the point of drowning it in sauces. The only one that stands out is the Original. The Shoyu is far too salty, missing the mark—it should have just a hint of salt rather than tasting like a salt lick. The seaweed salad is mediocre. The pickles were the best side dish. Unfortunately, the edamame was undercooked, making it difficult to pop the beans out.

If you know, you know! I absolutely adore this place. I've been a loyal customer since they first opened. In my opinion, no other poke compares on the mainland. My favorite is the California Roll, but honestly, everything is delicious. Just a heads up, be cautious with the local wasabi—it's really potent!

Best Poke we’ve ever had outside Hawaii! There’s always a line but the line moves pretty fast. Worth the wait! I recommend getting their poke bowl, great price and generous portions, and you get to pick two kind of poke. And for the side, seaweed salad and their pickled cucumber is definitely my favorite.

My favorite poke east of Hawaii! Delicious flavors, tender fish, and wonderful sides. I live half an hour away, but make the drive once a week and come home with enough poke for 2 days.
