The food is good but not as good as the original up in Mentone Beach, for the locals, you can't beat the BBQ.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I LOVE THE ONION RINGS! In my 30 years of life, these are by far the best onion rings I’ve ever had. The batter stays perfectly on the onion, and it’s wonderfully crispy... Simply delicious!

I ordered the three-bone platter of ribs because I wanted to give them a try. I paired it with potato salad and beans, both of which were excellent sides. They also served a cornbread muffin, which was tasty but on the small side, haha! The honey butter they provide for the bread is a lovely addition. There’s an interesting salad on the menu that I plan to try the next time I'm in the area.

Definitely try the sliders, order the chili, and don’t miss out on their teas! The BBQ sauce is incredible! I was surprised because I had read the reviews before visiting, but after leaving Tortuga Salon, I decided to give it a chance anyway. The guy with the big biceps at the counter got my order right on the first try!
