Moonstone Bistro - Redding

I arrived here a bit uncertain, but I was pleasantly surprised! Our server, Halle B, was exceptional. The mimosas were perfectly balanced, and our meals were delicious. We both opted for the mushroom Swiss burger; mine featured a perfectly cooked chicken breast, while his had a medium-well beef patty (not pink throughout, which was great) and it was also excellent. Even though Redding hasn't impressed us much in the past, this experience did! The champagne vinaigrette—made without dairy but with eggs—was fantastic on the salad that accompanied the burger. The outdoor ambiance was lovely, with fantastic heaters making it comfortable, creating a great overall vibe. I also loved the cucumber waters they offered!

We've dined there for the second time this year, and the food was fantastic. The service was just as excellent as our first visit, and we will definitely be returning often.

The Eggplant Napoleon here is the best I've ever tasted. This restaurant is fantastic, with superb food and service. We're really glad we decided to stop in. If you're traveling near Lake Shasta, be sure to check out Moonstone Bistro!

Excellent service and delicious food! I ordered the vegetable and noodle dish, while my husband tried the house-made pasta with lamb, and both were incredibly flavorful. The Elephant Garlic appetizer is a must-try! We concluded our meal by sharing the chocolate cream pie, which was the perfect way to end our dining experience.

Our server, Eric, was fantastic—attentive, funny, and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations. Even though brunch service had ended, he kindly brought us some fresh-baked scones to enjoy while we waited for our meals. My husband ordered The Melburger and declared it fantastic, while I had The Big Salad with salmon, which was phenomenal. Overall, this restaurant is a must-try. It truly exceeds expectations!
