Bella Vista - Redcar and Cleveland

Family trip to Redcar on a very very wet Saturday afternoon with family (one in a wheelchair) not a lot else to do but find somewhere dry for food! Stumbled upon this large sea facing restaurant opposite the helter skelter oddly completely empty at lunchtime but open and perfectly fine for a late party of 10! Service was prompt and given the vagaries of a mixture of aged and teenage family members' very specific requests for food drink our waitress's exceptionally patient and managed to get it all correct first time some feat with our family. Food was equally quick to arrive after drinks. Fish and chip special was great value and was actually pretty decent (hot and all freshly cooked) All in all a place worth recommending. Well done!

Really good food and really good service. Jamie was our server and he was brilliant! Very attentive and understanding couldn't have been any more polite! Baby changing facilities were fab as well. Highly recommend

What better way to spend a cold Saturday than to go to the seafront! We walked along the sea front at Redcar today looking for somewhere to have fish and chips. Most looked like takeaways but I wanted to sit in. Too cold to be walking about. We liked the look of this place but were a bit worried when we walked in and were the only ones in at 1pm. Place was a bit chilly too which didn't help. Lovely girl said we could sit anywhere. I ordered the food whilst the hubby and little legs nipped to the loo. Ordered 2 cod specials and a kids fish bite special. Little legs was £4.50 and included beans and a fruit shoot, cod special was 7.odd and came with tea or coffee and bread and butter. Ordered hubby the mushy peas too. The place was very clean and the decor was nice and modern. When the food came it was lovely. Fish was so fresh and was very melt in the mouth! Beautifully cooked and the chips were nice too. The hubby and little legs tucked in and totally tucked in. The lady behind the counter was lovely too and she was very nice to my 6 year old. We will be back when the weather is ambit walker and will be back to Bella Vista! Keep up the good work guys

Firstly the location is great! Staff were friendly and were very helpful. You can tell allot of care has been put in to this place! Reasonably priced fish and chips that weren't greasy portion sizes where good too. Will certainly return

Came here today on a family visit seeing as we are in the area. We found this place to be really nice and we have enjoyed the food. The staff i met today are lovelly : i will be coming back again soon x
