Mr Chan's Chinese - Redbridge

The food at this restaurant was bland. The lemon chicken tasted like frozen Birds Eye crispy chicken and the lemon sauce had no flavor. Even the egg fried rice lacked taste. The waiting staff was very sour and almost rude, with the owner barking out orders. We felt like we were an inconvenience. The prices were fair, but the poor quality of the food means we won't be returning.

Have eaten chans chinese style food off and on over the years , most times satisfactory , BUT THE OTHER NIGHT 30-45 minutes (about 8 pm )after eating/sharing our 3 separate dishes i felt really , really thirsty/ parched , this went on every 20/30 mins till i hit the sack close to midnight , must of drank over 2 liters of liquids. Now i am thinking that may be my last time i go to chans ps its A CHINESE takeaway ONLY .

Worst Chinese I’ve ever experienced! We are regular customers of Ming Garden, Buckhurst Hill, however it was closed this week so had to find an alternative on Just Eat… what a big mistake that was! The whole meal was inedible, the curry tasted of flour, I have simply never seen ribs served the way these have small bits of chopped up rib they consisted either of lumps of fat super chewy meat (how I imagine dog to taste like) … the crispy beef looked like it had been microwaved! We spent £35 on the worst meal ever! We are now ordering an Indian from the Coriander at 9pm! Will stick to what we know is good in future!! Please avoid!!!!!!!!

We put in a large order for new years and everything was delicious with great portion sizes. The duck, shrimp noodles and egg and chicken fried rice are highly commended, the satay chicken was tasty too! The best chinese I had all year

Excellent. Quick delivery from a friendly driver and very tasty food. Would definitely order from Mr Chans again in the future.
