Bidrage med feedbackWe drove all the way here to find a lady in the parking lot saying they are closing early. When I asked about their hours she said the hours didn't change, they just decided to close 2 hours early. That was a fun half hour drive for nothing.
I'd love to leave a review of their wines, but we left before we could try any. Interesting setting, but not a good first visit we entered and looked at the list on the counter but weren't greeted at all. When we inquired about food, it took 5 questionsto finally be told it would be over an hour wait. I'm glad they were busy, as they obviously didn't need our patronage.
The pizza we ordered was burnt and potatoes were undercooked almost raw. I had high hopes for the wine, but it turned out to be bitter and salty tasting. The only redeeming aspect was the scenery.
We stopped in mid-April for drinks. The location is great, and hidden amongst houses (Guessing those were built way after the winery). The outdoor seating and patio are very good, and they also have good indoor seating for bad weather. Starting in Maythey also do wood fired pizzas in their outdoor brick pizza oven on Fridays and Saturdays. I wish we were able to try that out,but they do offer some small appetizers the rest of the year too. My wife and I both did a wine flight and mimosa. We triedmost of the whites, and a few reds, all were good. We both also enjoyed the mimosas a lot.
Not very inviting coming in driving, the walk through the back room to the patio is very odd. Wines were some of the least favorite of the five vineyards we visited that day. The view of the patio is amazing. The cardboard cup holders are a nicetouch.
