Second Cup - Red Deer

The staff at this location are awesome. Really nice and help me make a discussion when I'm having a indecisive moment.

Service was good but could be quicker but that seems a concern with many coffee shops in North America. I always receive a good cup of coffee when I visit here and it is convenient when driving north between Calgary and Edmonton.

Even though I don't drink coffee I meet my friends there and we sit and chat. They have comfy chairs and they also have smoothies which I do drink! Its a nice environment to meet friends for a coffee and treat!

I love Second Cup. I have been a fan for many years all over Alberta. Unfortunately, I have to admit the service at this location is BRUTAL! I like to stop for coffee on my way to work and this Second Cup is the only location that is convenient. The atmosphere is quaint and the coffee is hot but I have had numerous problems with the service in the early mornings. For a few examples: - Completely understaffed on many occasssions- The drive thru takes FOREVER - my order is always a simple coffee- Overcharged & given the wrong order- Inside I found it no better - the girls stood there chatting with each other as I stood there waiting to get served (on more than one occasion). - the doors were not unlocked and it was already 7 minutes beyond what the sign on the door said. I have never written such a horrible review for any location but I had had enough with this Second Cup location and they have got enough on my money. I get better service at my local Mac's Convenient Store.

Went to second cup the other day for a specialty coffee. The service was slow and the coffee wasn't great, especially the price we paid. Tins would have been better and more reasonably priced.
