Save-on-foods - Red Deer

Originally from Vancouver visiting, we decided to stop by this Red Deer location before going back to the hotel. Hoping to grab something healthy I got a premade Caesar salad and sushi. The salad (I discovered when we got back) had no dressing and hidden parts of the Romaine were brown. Disgusting. The sushi was gross. I opened the package and just looked at it and didn't even attempt to eat it. Threw it out. Bis loss of over $20 in good. These days that's huge. Yeah, never again.

Experience was fine and they had every product I was looking for, albeit a bit more expensive than some other stores in town.

No post about bag restriction or anything but the second we walk through the door the security guard says no bags allowed and tells us to leave them by CS. I know very well that that’s not company policy and never mind the fact that we were trying to look at flowers for Mother’s Day. As if we would shove a bouquet in our purses. It was extremely uncomfortable and I felt completely disrespected. There were plenty of other people in the store with bags, including backpacks. Profiling customers because of some power trip is ridiculous. I don’t even want to shop here anymore.

Only issue I have is.....my chicken Ceasars was labeled chicken salad sandwich. Lol. Pretty sure save on lost money on that. My salad was 5 dollars. Only noticed when my husband hot home with it. Lol

Creepiest security guard. Didn’t even let me bring my purse in the store. Always stares at girls with shorts/tanks. hate going there. Not to mention prices through the roof. so unreasonable horrible experience
