Sams Donair - Red Deer

Called in to make a take out order someOne answered the phone with a grunt i asked to make an order to pick up she asked when would i pick it up i said half hr she says what you want ? I told her what i wanted as i have ordered here before always get the same thing for our family but my husband always picks it up . I had no idea what a dive the place was until i went into pay. she completely messed up the order when i checked it after i got there i mentioned it to her and she began yelling asking if i was calling her a liar and said the order is what was called in which i knew for sure it wasnt as i always order the same and dont like the food she put in the shawarma plate (hummus, fries and this gross salad they make ) so i made sure i even told her it wasn't right and she freaked and yelled some more shes lucky if there weren't kids in the restaurant she would have been wearing the whole order i just said settle down you just made a mistake and asked her if she could fix it she said u will wait for your order started taking other peoples orders that were just getting there and then started slamming things around made me pay alot more than my husband does for the exact same order and didnt give me any garlic sauce or pita bread i asked for the sauce and she charged me for it when some is supposed to cone with the meal if i didn't have hungry kids waiting i wouldn't have even bothered and i should have just left without buying . It will be the last time we will go there inside the restaurant is full of flies in both the eating area and kitchen and there is no ac inside , the bathroom is gross the floor and tables are ridden with dirt and left over food from previous customers and crackheads hanging out inside the place and right outside the door asking for change. Such a horrible location they dont even ask them to leave . ive had much better food from way better people we wont be back to waste our money . Save yourself from this horrible crazy woman. And find another place to eat from or make it at home its so cheap and easy . Just fyi

You choose the size, the sauce (sweet or garlic), the toppings and if you don't want donairs go with shawarmas or another great menu choice, Add baklava to your meal for a tad extra. Special donair of the day is a deal as it comes with froes anda pop

This little spot has awesome shwarma. I will definitely be going back here. Smiling service and great food for a reasonable price.

Very Friendly great food as well as donair's have been many times nave never not had good food. Will go any time.

First time at this place and eating this kind of food. It disappointed at all. Very good taste. The best part is that the owner are the one that serve you. With high quality service. Very friendly personal. I will go back when I am back at Red Deer
