Edo Japan - Red Deer

I went to eco Japan for the first time with my girlfriend after seeing all the commercials on TV. Thought it would be a good change since they have a new one here near me in timberlands. I went online and looked at the menu and picked out what I would get when I went. To my surprise, they did not have the tempura shrimp chop chop bento box, nor the dynamite rolls I was going to get as a side and I could only have teriyaki sauce and not sesame sauce which I was hoping to try with the shrimp beef bento box I did order. So I basically got none of the things I was hoping to before I got there. The food I did get was hot, tasty and the service was good but for 32 bucks for both of us at a place with plastic plates and utensils and none of the online items I wanted available it wasn’t what I hoped for. The food was good but they don’t have what I want so onwards we go.

This place has consistent quality and good food too. Great if you like Japan style foods. Always tasty!

We've eaten here several times in the past but we stopped to pick up dinner on Thursday night and what a mistake that was. They were so disorganized they were getting orders mixed up. We ordered the chicken and shrimp teriyaki and a sumo sized chicken teriyaki both with brown rice. When we got home we discovered there were no shrimp and the sumo sized barely had any chicken. It tasted fine even though it was basically a pile of rice with sauce. If you get yours to go, i highly recommend that you check what's in the containers before leaving.

Always a pleasure coming to this location.. Restaurant always VERY clean and of course the service is great and it starts as you walk through the door.. Food is very consistent don't think I've ever had a bad experience here and I've been going to this location for 5 years now.. Kudos!

We have eaten here twice in the last month. Went for a quick, healthy meal. Food was awesome and so was the service. Would definitely recommend eating here if you are in a hurry or in the mall and need a quick bite!
