Blarney Stone Pub & Restaurant

My friend and I ordered dinner here one night. Doubt I'll be back again! We ended up getting take-out but ended up going there to get it. The food was terrible! She ordered tacos and I had a chicken burger and my bun was soggy and had sauce everywhere. I hate soggy buns and my chicken was cold! My friends tacos tasted like the tacos you get from the box! They also forgot her guacamole and we had to wait 20 minutes for it. It was a tiny container of it. Not the best.

I ordered delivery. $80 order..... I was told it would be to my home by 6:15pm as I ordered it at 5:15pm.... 7:00pm rolls around and still nothing until 7:10pm.... This was supposed to be a "fun" dinner for me and my family.... By the time the food shows up my kid is in bed and the food is freezing.... By freezing I mean my food is colder than outside.Perogies with toppings of bacon, onions and sour cream... More like a spot of bacon and onion.... Honestly I could fit it all in a tablespoon...Stuffed mushrooms....... Probably would have been good fresh but not good frozen and then re heated.Artichoke Bruschetta.... The bread is harder than rocks..... I couldn't even tear the bread apart with my hands... Macaroni Bites.... Just make your own KD and then eat it... Because theirs tastes worse than if you burnt yours and are it.Steak Sandwhich with crispy onions on top..... No they aren't crispy onions they are soggy onions with soggy and hard French fries... Not sure how that works but it's nasty.... I called the restaurant and a girl answered and said the manager couldn't come to the phone because she was in a pool tournament..... Hmm so I left a message and waited for her phone call. 10 minutes later she called me. She told me there was no way my food could be freezing even though it showed up in a box with no cover.... She also told me it wasn't their fault it was deliveries fault. So she told me she would sent out a new order in an hour.... Send out in an hour... So how long would it actually be til it got here? I told her I didn't want a new order because all the food was gross.I asked for my money back and she said she would call me back in 2-3 days but probably not.... Honestly it's not so much about the food as it is about the service I received and the lack of kindness.... She was so rude on the phone and even started yelling.... At which point I raised my voice which I regret because it clearly did nothing.... All she should have said is I am so sorry that happened let me call you back in a few days and I will see what I can do... Is it that hard to have good customer service these days?Never ever ever again..... Blech

Went here tonight for dinner. I was impressed. I had never been to the Blarney Stone before but heard good things from friends. We went at 5:30 PM, so it was not too busy. Our server was great, and the food was delicious. They have deep fried pickles here, which are wonderful! There are things to do while you wait for your food - dart boards, video games, slot machines, etc. I had a great time playing darts. The atmosphere was great; they play classic rock music here, my favorite! And our food was reasonably priced.

And it's draft...our dinner was very obvious from frozen, as in I could recognize the McCain's Superfries for what they were. And my fish part of the fish and chips was very obviously Captain Highlander frozen battered fish. Our first sign of trouble should have been the fact that it was a Friday night and there were all of 6 people in the very large bar, and a large table were only there to drink, announcing they were going elsewhere for supper. Should have followed them.
