Bistro On Gaetz - Red Deer

This is a great place to grab breakfast. The London fog is spot on!

I visited this restaurant for lunch on a breezy Saturday after finding it on Yelp. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich and soup. The sandwich met my expectations, and the split pea and ham soup was excellent—exactly what I needed to warm me up. The latte was also very good. I had a pleasant conversation with the owner, who mentioned that they've been in business for about five years. I reminisced about how, 30 years ago, it would have been hard to find such a lovely little café in the area. However, downtown Red Deer has truly transformed, and this café is a wonderful part of that change.

Over the years, this charming bistro has consistently been a fantastic option for me. Whether I'm sharing a cozy nook with a friend while savoring tea and a custom grilled cheese sandwich, or grabbing an Italian soda to refresh myself while exploring the Wednesday Downtown Market on a lovely summer day, it never disappoints.
