I recently dined at Someplace Else Charcoal Eatery and had a mixed experience. The food quality was average – nothing particularly stood out, but it was decent enough. What made the visit worthwhile were the staff and the location. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt welcome and well taken care of. The restaurant’s location is also quite nice, adding to the overall ambiance. While the food may not have been exceptional, the good service and pleasant setting made it a satisfactory dining experience. Parking: Public parking available in front of the restaurant.

Love Someplace Place Else in Orewa! Super friendly staff and a cozy vibe. The food is amazing – try the Charred Steak! Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NZ$30–40
