Boukarou Beach - Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer

The owner was so rude, she made us feel completely unwelcome. She told kids off for not wearing T-shirts to go to the toilet to wash their hands before eating!! and then again when they went to the beach from the side not the front entrance. We heard her call us gypsies to her staff. I am a dentist and partner works for a bank. Even if we were we are spending our money in her establishment and should be treated with respect. Her staff apologised and it is obvious she isn’t a nice woman to work for and a racist. Please don’t eat here.

Not our first time here, but the first for 2 years. Fabulous warm welcome from the delightful patron and her (often hilarious) team. I can always find something on the menu I really want, even if I’m not hungry ! Really fresh fish and salads, great burgers, steak tartare all beyond expectations ! Great chef, nothing disappoints. The barman is no slouch with a shaker either !

We popped in for a drink. Got our drink and were ok till we wanted to move out of the blistering sun. Miscommunication followed after which guy serving us huffed and puffed and basically ticked all the ‘how to be ride without even trying’ buttons.

Absolutely love this fabulous little beach restaurant. Amazing big fresh salads and fish. Super friendly efficient service, even when it's busy which it deservedly is most of the time. Really got their act together this year. Very pretty and great ambience.

Great food, great setting, superb ambience and views. magical area. the owner valerie is wonderful! cant wait to return!!
