Large selection of cakes and other bakeries. So cheap and clean. Cash sales only, but this is not unusual, it would appear in this part of the world. We were late to visit Bad Schandau when we were on and off Bastei rocks (28° heat... why do we do these stupid things?! The cake selection lacked some of the most popular strawberry and raspberry cakes, but the ones we had were just as good and refilled our exhausted nutrient reserves. Delicious coffee too. I doubt we're back, but you're worth a stop when you go through.

The pastries are delicious: Doughnuts Cookies Cake etc. Good food and drinks. One thing that really matters is the fact that they have many bees! The bees come into the bakery case. I saw them roaring at dinner! Overall, I wouldn't come back here, but if she got rid of the bees I would. (Ella, 10)

We were late visiting Bad Schandau as we were climbing up and down Bastei rocks (28° heat why do we do these dumb things?!). The cake selection was lacking some of the favourite Strawberry and raspberry cakes but the ones we had were just as good and replenished our depleted nutrient reserves. Tasty coffee too. I doubt we'll be back ever but worth a stop off if you are passing through.
