Fiddlers Creek Restaurant Bar

Personally did not really enjoy my experience, popped in for a quick bite, ordered the prawns which were too sweet for me as they were done in a sweet chilli style as opposed to the usual garlic&chilli prawns, not to my taste as the honey with the prawns was a bit strange. I did ask for them to be taken back and much more garlic and chilli added which they happily did but prawns can easily be overcooked which they slightly were after and still super sweet the cheesy potatoes were also unexciting so I covered them in mustard and they were edible but nothing to write home about and not very flavourful.

Nice tables outside along the river, with local musicians playing on the other side of the river. But our server did not smile even once! She was bored and lethargic and didn't care if she served us or not.

Fine place for a late lunch early dinner. It’s a bit dated. Service is a bit less than “very friendly, glad you’re here…..” Fish and chips are VERY tasty and the mexican fajitas were decent. Whiskey selection fell well short of what a decent pub should have. (No Bushmills 12 even? Overall this is a very decent place to eat.

Found the price for the portion of food not great. Food itself had no great flavour. Waited far to long for the food. Staff were friendly all the same. Atmosphere wasn't great, in regards to it been dead. Nice location all the same.

Visiting from England, beautiful pub, lovely inviting welcome from attentive and friendly staff. The food was fresh and served in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend the fish and chips, cheesecake and chicken fajitas.
