Da Franco - Rastatt

That wasn't our first time in Da Francos, so we knew the food would be AWESOME. In short, it was the ravioli on the mushrooms were the sky on earth, only the grated cheese on the top could have been a wee bit spicier... (which is a question of personal taste and most would not like it as I do. It was a dinner for two because of my wife's birthday, and I was a bit worried about the bad reviews that the service had arrived there. I can only say that when we were there yesterday, 25. August 2014, both waiters were competent, friendly and attentive. I hate to be asked every 90 seconds if I enjoy myself. The mousse au chocolat was amusing, only the right kind of sweet and the whole food including the appetizers was fresh and prepared with visible attention to detail and skill. There was some time between the courses I suspect is absolutely the time for making the food fresh. there was clearly nothing predated and microwaved. I can't say anything about wine because I don't understand wines or drink. The location is clean (including toilets, pleasantly decorated and personal. A little political injustice: Since Franco has a smoker room well separated from the other dining room where people like me can dinate in style and enjoy their cigarette without harassing smokers. It is one of the reasons why I like this place, but above all it is the absolutely excellent Italian food. The cook and waiters are obviously Italian and understand the fineness of Italian cuisine (and not just pizza... . For what is offered there and the location, prices are more than reasonable (dinner for two with three courses totaling about 100 euros). In short, if you are in the area and like Italian cuisine, Da Franco is the place to go.

I had dinner at Da Franco with a colleague. Food was good, but not exceptional. Great wines, but expensive. What harassed me most was the service: the waiters had come down, took themselves too seriously and circled the table all the time. I wouldn't enjoy the mood at all.

A very cozy environment, we really want to stay there. the dishes are really delicious, very refined Italian cuisine, all classics are on the map. we are far away from the vulgar pizzeria, it is the ideal place for lovers of the good cucina italiana. the way worth it.

I gave the restaurant two times a chance and two times it was sobering. if the personal thus occurs unfriendly, unattended and alternately arrogant and lustless - then unfortunately it does not help that eating is ok. I cannot give a better assessment than insufficient.

The Italian macho gehabe went very well on the nerves. the service was lukewarm lasting have been ordered dinge you don't need to write down after all the guests can order 3 x espresso. we sat forever in front of our empty-forged tellers. the food also did not keep what it promised the salat was too salty for that the spaghetti fade the white wine sauce mentioned in the card was missing completely for that we had an oily broth in the teller. the service was very friendly unfortunately only on the table next to the one sitting there finally an Italian one can organize a giant babla. with us, we were rather crammed to the extremely unfriendly colleagues who came by occasionally. The stupid Germans are supposed to pay only the high prices for that we seem to be good enough friendly you don't have to be too friendly to them. never again!
