Affidandoci alle recensioni lette siamo andati a cena. Tutto vero, dall 'entrata originale al cibo squisito, dal tagliere ai pici, alle scaloppine tenerissime, purtroppo non c 'erano i porcini, torneremo per assaggiarli. Complimenti a tutto lo staff, la semplicità vince sempre! Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo! Consigliatissimo.

Ecco un posto davvero “genuino”! E non è poco perché oggi che sempre più ristoratori si sentono investiti dalla sacra missione di distruggere la cucina italiana con creazioni insulse e inutili, trovare un posto come questo dove si respira l’anima toscana e si assaggiano piatti tradizionali ben fatti è senz’altro una buona notizia. Abbiamo mangiato un buon tagliere di prosciutto toscano e ottimi pecorini ma soprattutto delle formidabili tagliatelle ai funghi porcini freschi, robuste, profumate e saporite.

We had a large group staying at the Castello near the borgo. San Rocco was the place for three lunches and three dinners during the week we spent in the lovely town. Claudia and family ran this busy restaurant in the most amazing way. There were 25 of us there in most cases and she took the very best care of us all. The food was delicious, fresh and good prices. Our daughter says she still dreams about the ravioli. They had a variety of dishes from pasta, meat, potatoes, pizza, vegetables and various drinks. The homemade sweet raisin wine was some of our husbands favorite. We looked forward to going there and always left happy! We will be back again, thank you so much Claudia and family.

Traditional, family restaurant serving delicious meals. From start to end we enjoyed every course. It was nice to eat with those from the town and not other tourists.
