Bidrage med feedbackI believe the owner of this bar is wasting his/her money advertising the All you can eat Fish Dinner for Friday night on the radio! Our waitress was the worst I have ever experienced! The establishment is a small place There were a few empty tables out of possibly eight tables, not full by any means. We arrived tonight, a hour prior to the end of the All you can eat fish dinner. We seemed like an inconvenience to the waitress when we arrived. It took some time before she came to take our order. We ordered four All you can eat fish dinners and drinks. When the fish dinners were brought to us, we ordered a second round of fish, so we wouldn 't be ordering it close to the end of the dinner special. Her comment with an attitude, was I think he is low on fish and walked away. We had to track her down for lemons and tartar sauce. We finished the fish we had and waited thirty minutes and still no waitress or fish. We went to the bar and asked for refills on our pop and to inquire on the where abouts of the fish. Her response was they didn 't bring it out? and walked away. We waited another ten minutes and decided to give up on our dinner. Again, we had to go to the bar and ask for our check. It was apparent that she was only concerned with the regulars. It 's a shame because we are local and the fish was good. We will not be back and I don 't recommend this place due to the service, or lack there of.
Thursday night's Biker Night is great. Good people and great location hidden away in Rapid City. Outdoor tables and some good live music from Willy. A Thursday night must. Can hardly wait to see what they have in store for the remaining Summer nights!
Service is horrible during the summer. Not the fault of the wait staff because they are sorely understaffed. Great bargain on the food but as other reviewers stated the all you can eat fish is just false advertising and they cant tell the difference between the 2 fish they offer. The place is what I consider a dive bar with a friendly local atmosphere and after all the fudgee's leave and us winter warriors are left it is a nice place to grab a bit and a few drinks. If you stop in during a busy day you may wait an hour for food so plan on a few drinks.
Normally I would rate this bar higher. Its been much better. We go there for lunch every almost friday at work and eat there regularly for dinner. Today we went for lunch and there has been a new waitress last few times. It really wasnt even that busy and i could hear multiple tables complaining about the service from her. We ordered two shrimp baskets that came out perfect and one burger basket that came out almost raw even after it took for ever to get and the waitress said it was taking longer to make sure it was cooked. Would have sent it back but never could get the waitress over. Also ordered a mushroom basket that came with no ranch. When i asked for ranch so i could eat them. She gave attitude and said she would get some. Never got it. While waiting two other tables ordered food, received their food and also needed ranch. They did get their ranch. Tried multiple times to get the waitress back over to the table. Nothing. Now mind you we were there for a work lunch. We were there for an hour and a half. By time she came with the check, without ever asking how things were I said did you forget my ranch . No apology nothing. Just set the check down and startes to walk off. Called her back and told her she could take the mushrooms off the bill. More attitude. But does take them off. By this time we just had to go. Two of us were going to pay with cards. One had cash. 2 $20 bills. We left the two 20 's on the table and said screw it. I just hope somewhere there reads this and gets that huge friggin tip! She needs training badly! Still a good place. Not sure what the deal was. Oh yeah and the table next to us was a family with one child. 1 menu on the table that they got themselves. They were there a half hour with zero service when we left. Sorry for the rant!
We were looking for a place to have dinner and noticed that the Town Club in Elk Rapids is currently closed for renovations, with hopes of it returning soon. After searching the area, we found this local bar that sounded promising. It had everything we wanted: taxidermy decor, wooden finishes, a friendly local atmosphere, classic bar food, and affordable drinks. Based on Google reviews, we decided to share a bacon and cheese burger, which turned out to be juicy and full of flavor. Our cocktails were just $3, and the burger basket cost around $8. Considering it was an April Saturday and the summer rush hadn't started yet, the experience was delightful. We’ll definitely be back to see if it retains its charm during the busier months. The Rueben looked appealing, and I’m eager to try the nachos next time!
