Dairy Queen - Rapid City

Absolutely ridiculous!! I recently visited Dairy Queen and ordered a medium shake. When I heard the price, I couldn't believe it. Pulling up to the window, I was told once again that it would be $7.39?!?! I couldn't help but express my disbelief to the cashier, asking if a medium shake really costs $7.39. Her response was, "Yep, I don't make the prices." Seriously, I'm 43 years old, I understand how restaurants operate. I know for a fact that 20 oz of ice cream does not come close to costing $7. With such an outrageous price for a simple medium shake, I can guarantee that it will be my last visit to Dairy Queen.

The evening staff on duty tonight at the restaurant was excellent. We ordered a banana split without nuts and they inquired if it was due to allergies. They took extra care to ensure that no nuts would come in contact with my son's ice cream. They truly went above and beyond. Those staff members deserve a raise!

The staff at this restaurant were incredibly friendly and welcoming! We chose to eat in, and it was a pleasant experience as they prepared our treats after we finished our meal. We left feeling full and satisfied, thoroughly enjoying our treats.

Pretty good food, excellent service and friendly. Will go again. Smaller parking lot so not a lot room if you have a trailer.

Place looked great and food was good and fast. But the only thing we wish was better was the customer service. When ordering and we were a group of 8. The server was ringing up up and because we ordered to fast he snapped at us saying he could only do one at a time. Which we can get but it was really rude. We could have just been told not needing to snap at us. When we hear the order had a flaw we told him about it and he got mad at it. Like we wanted to correct the mistake before we paid for it. But he did not have to get mad. So for rude server we give a 1. I thing if a server can not be nice not to have them dealing with customers.
