Wade's Mill - Raphine

Gorgeous property. Oldest continously running mill in U.S. Owner knowledgeable, friendly and runs a wonderful small, working museum, with a walking trail to mill pond dam and a lovely gift shop. So many fresh ground mill products and local gift items and foods to choose from. Family friendly. We will be bringing family and friends here to visit again and again!

Great place to stop for fresh flour, pancake mix, grits and other local goods. The owners are very helpful, friendly, and can direct you to other local gems.If for nothing else, a great picture stop!!

After a nice scenic drive we were transported to a world before stores as we know it. Back in the days of the mercantiles stores. With breath taking views and rich history it's amazing to see and learn what our first settles accomplished. It's a must see. Squeaky wooden steps and the smell of flour. It's an amazing adventure. Stop in and talk to the owners they are very sweet and love to share the history with you.
